COACH MATTHEW

I have been heavily involved in sport and fitness for the majority of my life. Starting at the age of six, I took up the sport of figure skating and from the age of twelve till I was eighteen, I competed for Australia at high level international competitions. My time in the sport of figure skating taught me many life skills including commitment, discipline, humility, and determination to name a few. Being able to travel the world and represent my country is something I am truly grateful for.

Due to certain circumstances, I decided to close that chapter of my life and began furthering my knowledge of health and fitness. Completing my certificates III & IV fitness I then went on to study exercise and sports science at Edith Cowan University, graduating in 2018. Here, I gained the knowledge and skills required to help both athlete’s and the general population improve their training and overall health and fitness. During this time I was training and competing in the sports of bodybuilding and powerlifting, winning local titles in both disciplines. I then found the sport of crossfit and functional fitness. I instantly fell in love with constant variety within the training, the amazing results, both physically and mentally and most of all the community and people you meet.

I am excited and honoured to pass on the knowledge and experience I have learnt to help people reach their health, fitness and sporting goals
